WHO: Coronavirus Pandemic ‘Not Even Close to Being Over’ as Deaths Pass 500,000

WHO’s Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Monday that international unity is required to end the Covid-19 pandemic. Deaths from the virus surpassed 500,000 worldwide and confirmed cases exceeded 10 million as the WHO reported the most infections in a single day. New clusters around the world indicate that the pandemic is far from over.
