(June 30) Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam leads a ceremony on Tuesday, June 30, marking the anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to China in 1997. Last year, a major protest march was held in the afternoon, and protesters also broke into the legislative complex in a major escalation of pro-democracy protests.
