President Joe Biden posed for a “family photo” with other world leaders Friday to mark the start of the 2021 G7 summit in Carbis Bay, England.

The G7, shorthand for Group of Seven, is an organization of leaders from some of the world’s largest economies: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the US.

Members of the G7 meet each year for a summit to discuss pressing issues on the global stage and coordinate policy.

Look back at other times the leaders have met, and see how the group has evolved through the years.
