‘We Will Hold China Accountable,’ Larry Kudlow Says

White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow issued a warning to Beijing Monday that the U.S. will “hold China accountable for a number of things.”

He made the comments outside the White House as President Donald Trump’s national security adviser Robert O’Brien traveled to Paris for meetings with European officials on China and other foreign policy issues.

Kudlow said there has “been tremendous sea change in attitudes about China” among countries around the world since the global coronavirus pandemic.

He said the U.S. and its allies will hold Beijing accountable for their behavior and lack of transparency on that, as well as issues from Hong Kong to Huawei.
