‘It’s Very Suspicious:’ Trump Doubles Down on Joe Scarborough Conspiracy Theory

President Donald Trump doubled down on his promotion of an unfounded conspiracy theory suggesting that MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough may have murdered a woman who accidentally died in his office two decades ago.

Trump has tried to implicate Scarborough via Twitter in the death even though the MSNBC host wasn’t in Florida at the time.

The husband of the woman who died, Lori Klausutis, is demanding Twitter remove Trump’s tweets suggesting Scarborough murdered her.

Medical officials ruled Klausutis fainted and hit her head.

Asked why he continues to push a narrative that authorities have proved false, Trump called it a “very suspicious situation”.

“Hopefully someday people are going to find out,” Trump said, and insisted that despite their pleas for him to stop tweeting about the conspiracy, he’s sure the family of Klausutis will come around.

“I’m sure that ultimately they want to get to the bottom of it, and it’s a very serious situation,” he said.
