‘Freak’ Labor Day Snowstorm in Wyoming Blankets Yellowstone National Park






A “strong” cold front left parts of Wyoming blanketed in snow on Tuesday, September 8, the National Weather Service reported.

Footage taken in Dubois, Wyoming, shows a thick coat of snow covering a cabin and the surrounding area. Uploader @ThatsEricsa wrote on Twitter: “Did not have freak Labor Day snowstorm followed by citywide power outage on my 2020 bingo sheet.”

According to local news reports, as of the afternoon of September 8, more than 12,000 Wyoming residents had been left without power.
