Hurricane Sally Could Bring Historic Rains to Florida Panhandle






Hurricane Sally was expected to bring up to 20 inches of rain to parts of Pensacola, Florida, as it moved at a “snail’s pace” in the northern Gulf of Mexico.

According to local reports, waves of 8 to 12 feet were possible, along with a storm surge as high as three feet.

In nearby Mobile Bay, Alabama, surges as high as seven feet were predicted.

This footage was taken in Pensacola Beach on the morning of September 15.
