Satellite Images Show Alabama Coastal Erosion from Hurricane Sally






Hurricane Sally lumbered ashore near the Florida-Alabama line this week with 105 mph (165 kph) winds and rain measured in feet.

Satellite images taken before and after Hurricane Sally passed over the Alabama coast showed damage to homes and seafront structures.

Col. Jason Kelly of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said Sally’s power was evident.
