President Donald Trump said Tuesday it was necessary to make a Supreme Court confirmation before the 2020 election to stop Democrats from trying to “sow confusion” with “millions of unsolicited” mail-in ballots. He made the remarks while taking questions from reporters on his way to Marine One on the South Lawn of the White House on September 22, 2020, in Washington, D.C, before traveling to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a campaign event.
