Biden: ‘We Can’t Take Four More Years of Donald Trump’

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden says President Trump’s conduct in Tuesday night’s debate demonstrates the reasons that President Trump should not be reelected.

“Last night reinforced for me that we can’t take four more years of this president,” Biden said during an interview with Cleveland TV Station WEWS/News 5. Biden added that Trump created distractions and avoided topics brought up by moderator Chris Wallace because he doesn’t have plans to fight the coronavirus pandemic or to help Americans struggling with the economy.

“He has no idea what he’s doing. And four more years of this would be a disaster.”

Biden also said that the current vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court should not be filled until after the election.

“The Constitution calls for the American people to have a say in who’s on the court. And the way they do that is by who they elect as senators, who they elect as president. Now, a president is elected for four years, if it comes up in a timeframe that, in fact, is not where the new election has already begun, they’ve already spoken. But the election has already begun. Millions of people have already voted.”

Biden added that the next person to join the Supreme Court could affect the lives of millions of people.

“He’s going to be going to court within a week after the election to strike down the Affordable Care Act, which gives coverage for preexisting conditions for over 100 million people. Twenty million people will lose their insurance,” if the Court strikes down the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
